The Bean Supper, Auction, and band were enjoyed by approximately 100 of the party faithful.

8 Democrats have completed filing papers for Frank Bucks job in the 40th. 
They are:
Cleveland Derrick Bain, Smithville
Jeff Barrett, Sparta
Steven K. Cantrell, Smithville
Galya C. Hendrix, Smithville
Carl Hix Jones, Westmoreland
George McDonald, Riddleton (name has been withdrawn by candidate)
Dean Sircy, Westmoreland
Sarah Marie Smith, Carthage

 


Above is a picture of the Delegates that were elected from the 6th.Congregitional District (Bart Gordon's) which includes 13  Middle Tennessee Counties. These delegates are to go to the national Democratic convention in Denver and represent the voters of the district. (Left to Right). Michelle Haynes, Sumner; David R. Harper ,Macon; Kristen Cullen, Rutherford; Alternate delegate Lane Dixon, Rutherford; Drew Rodes, Rutherford; June Trotter, Rutherford. All the delegates are pledged to Hillary Clinton except for Cullen. These delegates have the same I.E. one vote as the Super Delegates and they are bound to represent the wishes of the voters in proportion to the primary vote in their given districts.
